This afternoon I got to take a stroll through Cary Town with the newest addition to my Tri Delta fam, Katie! She’s one of the chillest and most genuine girls to walk this campus so I’m pretty fortunate to have have met her in my last year. We decided to embrace the hipster-vibe of lower Cary Town and pop into a record shop to check out some of the old tunes. Cary Town and Richmond in general is an amazing place because it offers a little something for everyone. There are flowers and French restaurants for the classy, tons of amazing restaurants for the foodies, and record stores like this for the artsy peeps. In my last few weeks of school I’ve tried to keep this in mind and enjoy all that Richmond has to offer with amazing company like
Also make sure to check out LF Stores where the shirt and necklace are from in this shoot! I had never heard of it, but their look-book reminds me of a more specialized Urban.
Sorry for the winter hiatus, but we’re back! Stay turned for more coming soon!
Just thought I would catch people up on my latest photography excursions. I was fortunate enough to visit both London and Park City, Utah this winter break. The views here were insane as you can hopefully see. The pictures in Utah were from my best friend, Claire’s backyard! Amazing. Lastly I posted some pictures of my favorite city, Richmond from a park in Churchill. I will miss this city more than I know next year.
More to come this week! We’re gettin’ back to that street fashion bish so get ready.
This post has literally nothing to do with fashion, but the pictures were too good to not share. Yesterday my girl Marin and I went on a hike just beyond Charlottesville on the Blue Ridge Mountains. The hike was short, but turned out to be much more difficult than expected ha, but once we hit the top it paid off exponentially (as you can hopefully tell from the pics). With sore legs and hair in our faces from the torrential winds, we chatted over a pint of Apple Cider (literally), while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. It was an amazing afternoon with perfect weather and perfect company. I highly recommend a visit to anyone that lives close!
Check out this chillin Cali girl. Wish I could rock those glasses shoot
Ha the aftermath lol
This past weekend my sorority threw a perfectly fall themed get together called Fall Fest. What more would you want to do on a fall night besides sit on hay bails, bob for apples, roast marshmallows, and chow down with your sisters? This night was such a great event I obviously had to document it and share!
It’s also convient that my sisters come from so many different backgrounds and locations, reflecting their individual style reflected here. Hopefully you enjoy the variety in these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them and sharing the night with my sisters and photoshoot models. Im guessing you recognize some of the faces as seen in Endless Summer and Something Like Olivia. If you haven’t seen them check em out!!

This weekend RVA decided to grace us with a gift of amazing weather. Feeling in the mood for a fun way to spend a fall afternoon, my family, my brother’s adorable girlfriend, Katie, and her dog, Avery took a trip to Maymont Park to throw a football around and take a walk. Although the sun was shining and the temperature was completely comfortable, the wind was on its highest level, coincidentally creating some excellent glamour shots of Avery.
It’s so nice to be around family even if it’s just for one weekend. School is so busy and sometimes you forget the point of being in so many activities, so having your sounding board and people who care about you most come in is truly something special.

This weekend, Olive and I ventured to the Richmond Street Art Festival to take in some of Richmond’s artiser attractions. Of course it ended up raining. But never-the-less we ended up enjoying the experience even more, and in a few photos, got to play with using our umbrella as the rain poured just like the paint on the walls.
I love being able to take a hour or two out of my day to spend with these girls. Olive in particular is one person I could say is 100% confident in her own skin and I admire her immensely for that. Not only is she basically the epitome of “cool, calm, and collected,” she’s also entrepreneurial! What are the odds. She started her own line of fabulous and unique leather accessories called Olive Eli. Coming from Houston, you can’t beat the high quality leather and Mexican influence. So check it out!!
As a side note, unfortunately school is ridiculously busy compared to the summertime for me, but I am trying to get my photos and outfits out as frequent as possible. Please keep following because I will update Double Take as much as possible! xx
